QHY fast download was created by Fabio Papa

Hi all,
I recently tried out Ekos on a friend's computer. He has a QHY8-L which is working fine, however we had a big issue during the focusing phase. The image would cycle really slowly, even using binning 4x4, and it was mostly download time as the exposure was rather short, .5sec.
In windows, QHY solved this issue by using a fast download mode, or something to that tune. The image is bad, it has artifacts in it, but it's download is faster.
Can such a transfer mode be used with Ekos/indi?

Thanks

Is this the same when you start a live video feed?

Are you asking if it behaves the same by starting a video feed on Ekos or if this mode is the same when you take videos in windows?

Hm, ok. The camera has never been used to take videos, so I'm not sure.
This setting is present in the ASCOM panel of the camera. For what I can see, the image is degraded somewhat, ie there are black lines on it, but it's good enough for focusing.
