QHY5-II minimum exposure time

Hi Indi community,

I'm using indi to make an allsky camera with a QHY5-II.
It seems the minimum exposure value is only 0,001s (1ms) : Requested exposure value (0.0001) seconds out of bounds [0.001,3600] in ekos

But with 1ms and the minimum gain, I'm always overexposed during the day : white frame.

I found this values on a commercial website : Minimum Exposure 20us / Maximum Exposure 10 minutes

Is it possible top update this values ?

Sébastien.

I am using kstars/ekos with a QHY5L-II as an allsky camera and I have the same issue. I would also like to have the minimum exposure time changed to 20 us if possible.

I submitted a change today to inquire minimum and maximum times from the SDK so no need to hardcode it anymore.

Thank you Jasem,

It's much more reliable. I will test it next week with my own QHY5.
The QHY5II for the allsky is on the way for the Chili ^^. I will update indi at the end of october.

I made a quick test with my QHY5. The log message indicates 1e-06 to 600s bounds. I was able to perform a 1µs frame with my old QHY5.

As always, Jasem, your are a master.

Topic solved.
