Driver indi_qhy_ccd crashed on VirtualBox

Hello to everyone, I'am using Kstars and Ekos with Ubuntu Mate on VirtualBox (windows 10). My equipment is composed by Avalon Mzero mount, Canon 5D mark2 and QHY 5L-II guide camera. Everything works fine except the QHY camera. Every time I start Indi I get this error message "Kstars detected INDI driver indi_qhy_ccd crashed". What could be the cause?

Thank you.

Hello Massimo

asfaik the QHY driver is not even Beta. My recommendation is not to use QHY devices if you dont want to loose precious
time under a perfect sky. Most other CCD drivers work flawlessly. QHY is not interested in the Linux drivers. The support
seems to be dependant on the work of volunteers out of the community.

Based on my experience QHY firmware and driver have mixed results on Linux: my QHY 5L II guide camera had always worked fine since day one. On the other hand the QHY 168C never really worked whatever I tried (direct connection on linux or through a guest Windows VM ) and had to give it back and bought an ASI071.

About your issue you should give more details (logs).
But first update to the latest version of ekos/indi.

v1.0.8 was just built today. Try to update and that SDK should now work for most QHY cameras without major issues.

Thank you for your replay. I have Ekos also on Raspberry where the QHY 5L II camera works very well. The problem is that it crash on Ubuntu Mate installed on VirtualBox machine on windows 10 computer. I installed the new windows Qhy drivers, but never changes.
