Align reverts to previous object

Last night, for the first time, I tried using the Scheduler with 2 objects (I'm still learning and the weather hasn't been kind).

It all went very well for the first object (NGC2023), and when it went below 30 deg altitude, in accordance with the conditions I set, the scope slewed to SH2-261 and went through the proper things. But when it came to Align, the position error was huge and the slew reverted to the position of NGC2023. Then guiding kicked in and I got a series of images captures but with narrow-band filters instead of LRGB.

This behaviour of the Align module does not seem to be correct.

Here's a screen-shot showing 2 attempts to align on Sh2-261 and each time it reverts to the previous target.

Hi Richard
Which version of KStars are you running? 3.6.9 has the issue you are describing for option "Differential Slewing". It's corrected now: Look here and here .

It's 3.6.9 Beta, built 2024-01-26T20:43:19Z

OK, so I need to somehow get hold of 3.7.0 Beta for macOS.

Thanks,
Richard
