Field rotation in simulator

I'm on KStars 2.9.5 facing a 90 degree left rotation when taking an image. I didn't find a way to prevent this rotation. Can someone confirm this behaviour? Is it a bug or simply user stupidity?

I have no idea what you mean. Care to elaborate more?

Here are two images of KStars and Fitsviewer. Updated KStars to most recent version today. As you can see theta 2 Tau is in the center and theta 1 is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. Simulator settings are the defaults by installation. I already uninstalled KStars, Indi and all config files I knew of but the rotation is still there.

What's the rotation value for this FOV? is "locked to celestial pole" checked in the FOV settings?

Rotation is 0 and "Lock to celestial pole" is unchecked. Checking it does not make a difference.

Then change rotation until it matches what you have.
