FCUSB was created by vince

Hi all,
Thanks for the great support I always get here!
Recently bought a AccuFocus focuser and ordered a FCUSB controller from Shoestring Astronomy (figuring I could control it with my setup because I saw the FCUSB in the INDI supported devices list). While I haven't received the FCUSB yet, I've been trying to prepare my setup.

For reference, I run KStars/Ekos on a Windows machine, INDI web manager to remote into a RPi.

I don't see the FCUSB driver in the INDI web manager list of focusers. I hope I'll be able to use the FCUSB and someone will be able to point me in the right direction. My research indicates that maybe the HitechAstro DC is the right selection (again, have not tried because I don't have the FCUSB yet).

Can someone confirm that HitechAstro DC will work or point me in the right direction?

Thank you!

Even if you do not display in Ekos of Windows probably, if you start the Raspberry driver, it will be read even if Windows Ekos is left blank.

Thanks T-Studio - appreciate the help.

So... I copied the shoestring XML file where you indicated (on the windows machine). The FCUSB driver does show up in Ekos - awesome. It does not show up in the list in INDI web manager. Are you saying that even if I can't launch it from web manager, it should still work from Ekos? I can't try it yet because I don't have the FCUSB yet.

Or do I have to do something on the RPi side as well?

Thanks again!

Is RaspberryPi a server of INDI Web Manager?
If so, there is a driver in the cloud maker, please install it.

Thanks again. This seems to have worked (it's in the list).

Of course... while I had the RPi handy, I made a bunch of updates and appear to have broken something else. I now cant get my ZWO EFW filter wheel to work post update... I'll ask for help in another thread.

Signing off.
