(SOLVED)Moonlite focuser not working properly

I have been using a homebrew moonlite focuser clone via arduino. Recently, the focuser has been causing issues where it won't connect unless the telescope is connected. When it does connect, it causes ra/dec to stop updating along with some other errors...
Log file for the moonlite is attached...

I also attempted to capture a log for the zeq25 but it doesn't really show much info. I've attached an earlier capture from that as well....
The moonlite clone is still working fine in other apps such as maximdl so i don't suspect a hardware issue.

Hi!

I'm hanging on to this, although it is slightly different: I'm also using an arduino DIY focuser with the moonlite driver. I've noticed that it seems to "miss" some ticks at times (going from 2000 and addning 200 ticks might leave me at 2198, not 2200 for instance). This does not happen when I use the original windows software. Do you experience similar issues? I'm not sure it matters, thougjh.
