Hi all,

I try to connect to my SBIG ST-i with sbig indi driver. This works when I am logged in as root.
When I try this from my user account I get

2017-02-25T18:34:37: Failed to connect CCD at port USB 1
2017-02-25T18:34:37: OpenDevice: CC_OPEN_DEVICE 32514 -> (Device not Found)

I guess, I have to modify some access rights, but dont know which ones. I run kstars under open suse leap42.2.
Anything else seems to work.

Thanks in advance for any help

You've got udev file for sbig installed? Should be in /lib/udev/rules.d/51-sbig-debian.rules

It's written for Debian, make sure it is compatible with SUSE udev stuff.

And you made your user a member of the plugdev group?

Hi Klaus, Jasem

thanks a lot, it works now. Problem yesterday was, not to restart the udev daemon.
