Guiding wit PHD2 but fits viewer displays guide image? was created by Magnus Larsson

Hi!

I regularly use PHD2 for guiding, and it works nicely together with Ekos. However, recently the guide image pops up in the Fits viewer, despite using PHD2. This is quite annoying as I cannot close it, because it pops up again on next image download. THis is new behavior the last few weeks. Is there some setting that I might need to change, or what is happening?

Ekos Guide module used to disable this, but this was proven to be problematic and complex, so it was disabled. You can still do it manually via the INDI Control Panel. Go to your CCD driver, and under Image Info as illustrated below:
