Starting today, the default INDI PPA will be the Stable INDI PPA. What does that mean? There will no longer be daily builds for any packages. When I deem a package ready, I will trigger a build manually. This is resolve the common problem with unstable PPA builds that folks been experiencing for a long time.
At any rate, I shall also create an INDI Nightly PPA build for the daily builds. This PPA is intended for testing only, do not use it for production! If there is a problem with a package on the nightly PPA, then send me a private message but do not post about it in the public forum as we do not need to confuse users further.
Yes, I saw that the version I have now is from feb 25
I uninstalled indi and reinstalled indi-full. This installed the version from feb 25.
Will wait a while and update again.
As far as I know, this is the regular ppa. But the builds for several ubuntu releases failed, it seems (asi driver at least). You can see this on the link that Jasem posted here earlier.
With this change, apt-get update was complaining about a label change and didn't offer a useful solution or continue.
Using apt update got me past that (and on to upgrades).
It seems apt-get is being deprecated in favour of just apt.
Jasem, it looks like the libgphoto PPA still is updating every night. Do you have plans to turn this into a stable PPA as well or will you leave it as it is now?
