Hello,

I'm investigating re-mountin my Celestron C11 and looking at the CEM60 with high res encoders
www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_inf...--27-kg-payload.html

Anyone using this with INDI & EKOS?
I mean is it safe to leave unattended?
Does it reliably park and unpark?

Thanks.

Actually now I'm thinking of going for a CEM120. Anyone out there using one with INDI?

Good question, I am also closely following this topic.

The single encoder version looks particularly appealing

Yes it looks pretty good. Been reading on a few other forums about it. You may still need to guide for longer exposures but with good polar alignment it looks like some some people are getting by unguided for a minute or two. Most of my images are 60 or 90seconds (for photometry) so not guiding would really make everything more productive.
