Hello,
I'm trying to install indi in a netbook with lin_guider already installed but I found this issue:
dpkg: errore nell'elaborare l'archivio /var/cache/apt/archives/libqhy_0.1.7+r35.234~ubuntu15.04.1_i386.deb (--unpack):
tentata sovrascrittura di "/lib/udev/rules.d/85-qhy.rules" presente anche nel pacchetto firmware-ccd 1.1
dpkg-deb: errore: il sottoprocesso paste è stato terminato dal segnale (Broken pipe)

Even if I move the 85-qhy.rules it still goes in error.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Giovanni.

Hello,
yes, you have to install in order to use lin_guider due to the fact it allows lin_guider to use drivers for the guider cams

I googled it and it seems you can do
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite

yes both packages ship the same file hence the problem. I just made libqhy and indi-sx conflict with and replace firmware-ccd

Actually once you install indi firmware and rules there is no need for firmware-ccd it is used by lin_guider in case you do not have the firmware and rules installed. We intentionally keep it as a separate package. Rules and firmware are the same as indi's. So if you install the indi driver for your camera it will install the firmware and rules needed by lin_guider too.
