Integra 85 Field Rotator-Focuser and Primis for prime Focus
Main features of the Integra 85 Field Rotator and Focuser
Gemini Integra85 is the 2nd generation of our integrated focuser-rotators. Integra85 will solve your focusing and rotating needs with a short backfocus (69 mm) and with the highest precision. The focusing function of the Integra85 is based on 3 fine pitch leadscrews running in special low friction nuts that provide high loading capacity up to 8 kg with 0,05 micron steps. A powerful rear-earth magnet hybrid stepper motor drives the leadscrews.
The Integra85 is tested under realistic loading conditions and is shipped with a test certificate.
The rotator is using a traditional wormwheel and the hybrid stepper is connected directly to the worm. A special dual bearing combination is ensuring that your camera is held in position as precisely as possible, without play or backlash. Most reducers and flatteners fit into its 85mm ID barrel. The travel is 10 mm.
Integra85 connects to the telescope by 3 pc M5 screws that provide the possibility to precisely collimate the focuser. There is an M94x1 thread as an alternative. The standard CCD adapter is M68x1, other on request. Aluminium, copper and stainless steel is used to build up this robust product. The genuine carbon fiber cover gives an exclusive look to this high precision microfocuser-rotator.

Primis is a reliable and precise focuser for large (from 12″) prime focus Newtonian Astrographs
Why would you place the focuser/camera in the primary focus? The advantages are several.
1) Savings on cost. You buy one product instead of 3 (secondary mirror, spider, focuser)
2) Savings on weight and consequently less flexture
3) Collimation made much easier
4) Gain in light and image quality for the lack of a second optical surface
5) Gain in light due to the smaller central obstruction and full illumination
Primis is characterized by a backlash and tilt free focusing action which means reliable autofocus.
