Dear,

I bought a GPS USB dongle. I selected GPSD in as auxiliar device in the profile editor. Ekos detect ok the device, and I recive my coordinates. But if go to the Astroberry to see the GPS panel I can see the info blinking, from the correct coordinates from my location to N/A. The satellites panel donn't show any satellite. I don't know if this blinking can generate problems in Ekos to positioning the mount or the info thats uses ekos or kstars with the GPS coordinates.

If I check the GPS info in the terminal, with "gpsmon" or "cgps" applitcations I can see algo this blinking... and not information about satellites, and I cant's see the maps of my location....

Any helps about this problem, or probably is not a problem?. I attach some pictures showing the problem:

Thanks

While using real GPS you need to disable virtualgps service.
Run in terminal:
sudo systemctl stop virtualgps
sudo systemctl disable virtualgps

You only need it if you don't have real GPS connected to your system. If you do GPSD service reads both real and virtual GPSes, which is not what you want.

Dear Kaczorek,

I checked your suggestion, but now I don't receive any FIX from GPSD. I attach an screen capture. But I extract the GPS USB Unit from the USB the info about GPSD in Ekos is the same, not changue if I have the dongle connected or not....

Thanks

This means that you have never got fix from your real GPS. Instead you got fix from virtual GPS.
Are you testing this outside?

Dear Kaczorek,

In windows 10 it seems to work properly, below an screen caputre with VisualGPS software.

Thanks,
