Flats and Bias with nikon D5300

Hello. I'm having problems shooting flats and bias with my nikon D5300. No matter what exposure I choose (short exposure) I get a 10 second exposure and a uniform grey image(fits). I tried setting the force bulb off, put the camera in Av from the camera itself or from indi control panel. For long exposure it's working great.
Any suggestion please?

I must admit, I never used Astroberry to take flats or bias with my Nikon D7500 because it was quicker to do this manually by holding down the shutter button on the camera itself. I just used Astroberry for controlling the taking of Lights but still only used the raw NEF files on the camera. For my darks I just used an intervalometer as I could then just leave the camera out in the dark cool night and bring the rest of the equipment in.
