I have a Raspberry Pi 3, is there an advantage in using a Pi 4 (4 or 8 mb) with Astroberry versus using a Pi 3 ? Sorry for the noob question.

Depends what apps you want to use. If you are using apps like Kstars with local plate-solving on RPI then you see a major difference.
