I got a ASI071 pro cam 1 month ago, and I have faced some dew issue on the camera window. I found out there's a antidew feature and I would know how is your way to use it ?
How long should i use it ? I guess the answer when the dew is left.
and what time gap between ON and OFF to anticipate the dew.
Is there a way to automate this, because I don't have any sensor for the moisture, but I can easily estimate if a night is getting more humid or not.
I live in a very humid place and my setup is set in a field far from city.
Thanks

I have an ASI2600 and I just turn the dew heater on in the INDI driver and leave it on if the forecast is anywhere near the newpoint. Given that there are unlikely to be significant convection currents in the camera itself, I think any loss of image quality would be negligeable.

I will do that way in the next session if necessary.
