Hello,

I bought an Omegon veTec 571c camera and I am not quite sure which settings to use for the beginning and first tests without doing a sensor analysis with SharpCap in advance. I would like to do this as soon as possible. Specifically, these would be a settings in the Indi Panel : Dual...Mode - values low, hight, hdr.

I could find out most of the settings here www.indilib.org/ccds/toupcam-cameras.html, except the dual...mode setting. I have attached a screenshot.

It would be nice if someone could help me :)

Hi Daniel,

you find the discription of the settings here:

www.indilib.org/ccds/toupcam-cameras.html

The Threshold is a kind of switch. If your gain is below you habe LCG and if it is above you have HCG.
In very simple words LCG means more fullwell but higher noise and HCG less fullwell and lesser noise.

The ration is 3.05

Offset has to be put to avoid clipping. You can take a Bias frame with your settings and the min value of the image has be above 0.
Usally the offset it is in ballpark of 200 to 300.

Hope that helps.

Best Regards
Sven
