Hello,
I have a GPCAM 2 from altair astro (www.altairastro.com/Altair-GPCAMV2-IMX22...lanetary-Camera.html). It seems to be not supported, so I asked in the Altair Astro Group on google (groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/altair-astro) which seems to be the correct line of contact to be used if it will be ever supported on indilib. Nick Altair answers:
Is there a way to be useful to make again contact or cooperate with you about that camera? (I'm not an active developer, sorry).
Thanks
Luca
I didn't receive any such request for SDK from Altair Astro before. If they want to share the SDK, ask them to communicate with me (mutlaqja AT ikarustech DOT com)

Hi,
Could you make any headway on this driver? If not, can I be of assistance?
I'm not super-experienced in C++, but with the examples, I can probably get started.
I'd like to start using my GPCAM2 with Ekos pretty soon.
Thanks,
Phil
Hi,
Nick said that will create the binary file needed to wrap all the low level protocol (that is not to be disclosed, it seems) sooner or later. So I suppose the driver is in stand-by.
Thanks for the answer. With the Linux drivers and the SDK, don't we have everything we need?
I'm afraid if we wait for Nick, we might wait for a long while...
EDIT: just checked, there is actually no Linux driver, at least that I could find.
There are no Linux drivers. Nick initially sent compiled library that doesn't work. I asked him to fix the issue but it appears they are busy and Linux is not a priority. This is a couple of months ago. If you want your cameras supported under INDI, you must contact them directly.
