Hi Guys,

I have a newbie dumb question. How do you disable the mirror lock? I have a modified Canon DSLR and if I have the mirror lock enabled, the internal amplifier stays on and its heat bleeds onto the sensor. I want to disable the mirror lock so the amplifier will only be on only when the image is being downloaded off of the camera.

I see in the INDI Main control that the Mirror Lock has a green light and I want to turn it off, but can't find any control in any of the tabs to do so.

Thanks,
-Gene

If the value is zero then it is disabled.

Thanks Jasem,

See, dumb question. I must have had a non-zero number in the field then. I was doing some test dark exposures to get used to how Ekos works, and I heard the mirror lock up and my darks were showing the bleed through because the amplifier was on since the mirror was locked in the up position. I'll try it again tonight and make sure that the value is zero and see what happens.
