QHY driver crash on Kstars 3.1 on a MAC was created by Dirk

Hello,
I am experiencing crashes of the QHY driver on a Mac Book Air, OS High Sierra when connecting my QHY8L directly via USB.
Using the camera remote via a Stellarmate device works fine.

Could this be the same issue that was in the linux nightlies with qhy library 4.0.14?

Yes it's not fixed for MacOS yet. Should be in KStars 3.1.1 hopefully quite soon.

It also crashes on the latest release on Linux.

I just installed indi/ekos on an Intel Stick running Ubuntu 18.04--latest release.
Running the latest 3.1 release (feb 2019).
indi_qhy_ccd crashes on startup there everytime.

It does not crash for my RaspberryPi running the same Indi/Ekos release, but Ubuntu 16.04--latest release.

Both connected via usb from my device.
