This night i had a astrosession and when i inspected the files it seems the images where taken in 8 bits while last week images where taken in 16 bits.
Looking at the imaging format in Ekos i found the format at 8 bits.
One month ago i had the same but made a correction to 16 bits and after that imaging went great.

Does anybody have experienced such behaviour and know the cause?

you have to save the configuration after you change to 16 bit

I know and i did last time. I restarted ekos/kstars and it showed Raw 16 bit.
Imaging went wll.
Till last night i found that it has changed to 8 bits.

Joshua, can you please update your signature so it contains the gear you use so we don’t have to ask that all the time?
