I just pushed a change to the same repo. Same instructions as above to run. I'm hoping this will show some debug messages that might give a hint where things go wrong.

I've an old Orion deep space monochrome image II camera based on the same ICX429ALL CCD chip
that should have the same hardware architecture....
I'm looking for an INDI driver for that camera too, so I can check if your indi driver
support my camera!

Simone, could you post the output that you get with "lsusb -vv" with the camera plugged in?

...only one month and two weeks later.....!!!!
I have a lsusb -v output log with the Startshoot deep space monochrome imager II.
USB vendor and device id differs from the G3 ones....
I'll try to capture some usb transaction with wireshark on windows 7 with the original
Orion driver....

I'll try to change the vid e devid on the startshootg driver and rebuild it...the ccd on the two cameras
is the same and I hope that the only difference is the cooling that on my camera is not controlled...
Who knows?

Yeah, a usb capture while using the camera with the Orion driver would be enough to know if it uses the same interface as the G3 camera.
