HID equipment and INDI was created by John Robison

Hello,

In AstroBerry, a ZWOUSBST4 was presented as not working in KSTARS/EKOS. Using udevadm, the device masquerades as normal USB but is HID. It shows up has a HID port. KSTARS/EKOS don’t recognize the device as IP or ACM. ZWO explicitly state, LINUX is on our own.

How are HID devices recognized in INDI?

Or how should the OS present HID to INDI?

Have you loaded/started the driver indi_asi_st4? IIRC all ASI devices are HID....

Yes. I checked the contents of the indi_asi_st4. It is looking for a specific device. Unfortunately, the device it is looking for is not a HID device. Thank you for offering the suggestion.
