After a recent update & upgrade I can't set the exposure time lower than 2 seconds without trouble.
Below 2 seconds it will just try & retry again.
I recall that I could use 1 second and even less, integration times before.
My download time is about 1.75 s (could have anything to do with it?)
Asi 1600mm cooled, Stellarmate, RPi4 4gb.
Will try to fetch & post logs soon, but maybe it's a known property already, as I'm not the only one with this camera).
I first took a few captures with 2 second exposure time, that went fine.
Next with 1 second -> failed.
Lastly again with 2 seconds -> succes.
I tried exactly the same with a stellarmate version 1.52 and that worked just fine to really low integration times. The weird thing is that it didn't record any logs!?
Cheers, hope this is enough information to work with.
Hmmm, I had a similar experience yesterday when using my equipment after weeks of bad weather.
In my case it is <1s when capture fails. Cameras are ASI 294mc (main) and ASI 224mc (guiding). Both cameras fail at <1s.
System is an RP4 running Astroberry and updated yesterday as well. Astroberry only has the "stable" branch available. So no updates for INDI and KStars since a while.
However, I remember that short exposures have worked before, but I cannot recall how long ago that was.
