A7S non Bulb mode was created by Ferraro

Good morning all,
I wanted to know if anyone regularly uses the sony A7S with EKOS / INDI. Officially the sony A7S is in the list of supported hardware, but personally I can't get it to work in non Bulb mode (essential to avoid A7S star-eater).
After a lot of reading (including on this forum) I no longer have a driver crash, but in reality the images that are downloaded to the raspberry PI are not correct.
Let me explain. In the capture module (or the focus module), the first photo is correct, the second is a copy of the first, the third is actually the second, the fourth is actually the third and so on.
Everything happens if the images were in a cache and a delay occurs between taking a photo, downloading and presenting the photo in the .fits reader.
Of course, there is no error message in the logs, everything seems to be working fine.
Moreover, if I run a sequence I see the same difference and nothing is written in the SD card of the A7S, even if I choose this option in the driver.

Thanks for your help.

Replied by Ferraro on topic A7S non Bulb mode

No one having an idea ?
I move from a laptop running windows to a PI EKOS/INDI and my first impression is excellent. My first rig is an Avalon Fast Linear, an FSQ and 2 QHY CCD for imaging and guiding. The focuser (Lakerside) works perfectly and after 2 days I succeeded in a first session thru the night but nothing to do with my Sony A7S.
it is frustrating to have a new solution and fall down when using a DSRL appearing in the list of approuved camera...

I add more debug info to see wath is going on.
When it works on Bulb mode I have

When it fails in Non Bulb Mode (The viewer shows previous image)

To start debugging the issue: does the problem occur when you're in a simpler situation, saving the data locally instead thru Rasberry PI?
Which driver and version are you using.
