Greetings,

I am trying to connect my Atik 320e but I always get a crash message on Ubuntu 20.04.2.0. I tried to go to device manager and check "Atik ccd" driver but I also get a driver crashed error and the following message:
2021-03-06T16:24:42: startup: /usr/bin/indiserver -v -p 7625 -m 300 -r 0 -f /tmp/indififoe9bb0e33

Child process 11871 died

Child process has different value every time I try (if that helps).
I am using Kstars 3.5.2 stable and the newest version of indi-full (1.8.9~202103011147~ubuntu20.04.1) and indi-atik (2.6~202101090810~ubuntu20.04.1). I have tried all USB ports on my laptop (2xUSB3.0 and 1xUSB2.0) but I always get the same message.
I connect my whole setup on a rasberry pi 4 with an older version of Kstars and indi drivers, but I want to conduct observations with my laptop this time. Any ideas on how can I fix it? My laptop recognizes the camera so its not a hardware problem.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
George,

It's due to an old of date library, I'm rebuilding the package now.

Entered this a few days ago, nut nobody seemed to care.

My ssd failed today, and don't want to go through the dowload/compile again on a to small SD card.

Greetings,

Thanks to Nuno's help,we installed an older version (atikccd-1.22) and libnova dependency (0.14-0_0.14.0-2.1) and it worked like a charm. The strange part of the story is that due to change in the libnova dependency,I couldn't install some programs. So I ran fix-broken to fix the dependencies and update so I got the newest version of atik again. But now, with the newest version,Atik works fine again. Really strange outcome.
