I have a little problem with the ZWO/ASI driver. When I try to run the service in Tools > Devices of Kstars I get the following message:
Kstars detected INDI_asi_ccd crashed. PLeas check INDI server log in the device manager.
The log in the device manager can't be catched because it refresh in an infinite loop.
Ubuntu 15.04
KStars version : 2.2.2
libindi 1
When I start indiserver indiserver indi_asi_ccd
I get the following message : Driver indi_asi_ccd: stderr EOF
I tested with oacapture that recognized the camera but doesn't show any image. I tried to record an avi but got each time a file with same size and apparently empty.
Yipee full reinstall made the camera recognized by indi. But can start video streaming.
I have got the following message: No Luma video format found, cannot start stream.
that look weird to me. Just a little help more pleaaaaase.
Maybe this could help, I also have this message in the log:
2015-11-07T18:01:11: ASISetROIFormat (1280x960 @ 1) error (9)
2015-11-07T18:01:11: Error: Invalid range for WIDTH. Valid range is from 1 to 1280. Requested value is 1392

I must admit that I've never checked out this Streaming tab as I only take single images. Now I did and I get the same "No luma video format ..." message. The cam is a ASI120MM. Google doesn't tell me much about luma video format but perhaps Jasem can shine a light on this.
I have ASI120MC and it's working well under Ubuntu 64bit. Make sure to connect to a USB2 port (USB3 can cause problems). Do you see Luma format under Controls tab?
