Hi there,

I'm new to INDI
I've successfully installed INDI library version 1.1.0 for Raspbian on the following page: indilib.org/download.html
When I launch indiserver for my webcam and/or Canon DSLR camera everything seems OK.
However when I launche indiserver with the driver for ASI camera (I own an ASI ZWO 120MM) I've got the error on the screenshot.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Best regards

Dear Jasem,

As promised, I did a try yesterday evening.
First if updated/upgraded my Rpi > no updates for indi-asicam were available.
Then I've downloaded the latest the Daily INDI Library for Raspberry Pi but the version of the driver was the same.
Conclusion: the problem remains ;-)

Did I made something wrong? May I help you to solve this issue?

Thanks for all

There is no PPA for Raspberry PI, just the daily snapshot. Anyone else having this problem? The driver runs fine here on the Pi2.

Tested with our Raspi B (1st generation) using Raspian Jessie, I get the same issue as astroimagine.

Recompiled the driver from source => Works fine. Maybe a packaging issue? For example: built with compiler flags working with the ARMv7 RPi2 but not ARMv6 RPi?

The PI package is built on RPI2 which is linked against ARMv7 library... But even if I linked against ARMv6 it still doesn't crash. So it must be something else.

Thanks to both of you :-) I really appreciate your help
I did a try with the indi library available on DistroAstro (www.distroastro.org) on my laptop and it works fine.
I forgot to mention that I have this issue on a Rpi B+ (first generation).
I was wondering how I can help?
Is it work to try to recompile the driver from source? If yes what is/are the command(s) to execute?

Best

I just found my first generation PI collecting dust and upgrading it now to Jessie, then I'll try to make the packages available for it in addition to Pi2 packages.

Just to let you know that I've installed indilib 1.2.0 on my Rpi and now it successfully starts the ASI driver.
However, I've noticed that when I connect remotely with Ekos the INDI Control Panel is empty.
I have the same issue with the indilib installed on my laptop.
Any ideas?

Merry Christmas and many thanks for you support
