QHY8L current status?

QHY8L current status? was created by Richard Hornby

Could anyone advise the current status on drivers for the stock QHY8L?  

Research on this forum indicates that issues may exist with the older QHY kit, that a rebranded version of the 8L required different firmware and that the cam had issues when run on astroberry.

I am wondering whether issues remain with the stock cam and EKOS under Mac or Windows (or Manjaro (Arch). 

The cam is a good fit for my F10 scope but before committing the cash I’d be grateful for any thoughts.

My choices are this or the ASI294MC Pro.
