Partitioning the Scheduler code

This is a somewhat old thread but I wanted ask, with the ongoing rewrite of Scheduler, I wondered if some thought has been given to being able to submit schedules to ekos running on a remote Raspberry pi, from Ekos running remotely on my laptop? That way the job would be processed on the pi, not locally on my laptop.

Currently the focus is still on robustness of EKOS.

What do you mean with remote? The scheduler is embedded in EKOS, so it needs a running KStars. Do you think about a communication between two EKOS instances? Or is the intention a headless remote EKOS service?

I would run Kstars on a second planning system, generate sequence files and then simply copy the files to the telescope system.

I wouldn't try to modify a sequence while it's running.
