A new INDI WebManager App for Mac OS X and Linux

Ok I released a new version, version 1.0. This might be the only version for the next two weeks or so since I will be kind of busy. But this version includes the option to set INDI Web Manager App to start when the system starts, which should be a very useful function for people setting up a remote system that should automatically turn on.

Please test things thoroughly and enjoy the new app.

For OS X, you can get version 1.0 here: github.com/rlancaste/INDIWebManagerApp/releases/tag/1.0
For Linux, it is available from the nightly PPA: launchpad.net/~mutlaqja/+archive/ubuntu/indinightly
For Source Code, it is available on GitHub: github.com/rlancaste/INDIWebManagerApp

Happy Imaging!

Thanks,

Rob

I will wait for it on the nightly. Thanks!

BTW, I rebuilt my Odroid again from scratch this morning, avoiding the sudo installs that messed up my install of INDIWebManagerApp earlier. Version 0.9 works without any errors so far :)
I'm looking forward to version 1.0

Just a note, code.launchpad.net/~mutlaqja/indiwebmanagerapp/master
is reporting an import status of failed with the last successful import on 2019-06-20.

Well, Jasem's successfully built 1.0 works for me on the Oroid Ubuntu-mate 18.04, including auto launch and start at system startup.
Thanks again.

Hi,

I always encounter this message during indiwebmanagerapp startup "Alert, an INDI Webmanager is already running on this computer. Do you want to quit it?"

Any idea how to stop the other indi webmanager from starting up during OS startup?

Thanks

If you have the "start at system startup" option checked then isn't it doing what you asked for?
Perhaps unchecking the "start at system startup" checkbox will mean that it doesn't start at system startup. At least worth a try.

This option enable indiwebmanagerapp.service in systemd.
You can check it's status with: systemctl status indiwebmanagerapp.service

Maybe you have another startup script you create in the past for a standalone version of indiwebmanager?
Look in /etc/init.d for something related to indiwebmanager and also using the command systemctl list-unit-files
