I am looking to set up a cpc11 for remote operation. Currently the hand controler needs to have the enter button pushed to intialze the scope. Has anyone figured out how to remotely run the cpc1100?.... Bruce

I think you will find that the external control of the mount will work after power on even though the HC is asking for a key press. With the latest NexStar Plus HC you may also be able to get remote hibernate, power off, power on, and wake up. Aligning after a crash or power failure is more difficult because you don't know where you are pointed ad the mount doesn't have switches. I think that the default start position for the fork mouts is declination zero, hour angle zero, could be wrong, simplest is to try it.
