Might be a nice feature:
If the alignment module could have an option to specify a filter-wheel position for use when taking images to solve.

Last night I noticed alignment was failing because I was using a 5sec exposure through a filter pointing to a sparse area of sky.
Manually setting the filter wheel to a slot with no filter cured it this time. It would be nice if this was automatic.

It is automatic. Just go to the Focus module and select the filter and check "Lock". It will use the same filter for focusing & alignment.
