Is there a way to set a windows position, so when it's reopened, it opens in the same location.
My most often window task is to reposition the Ekos window back under the KStars toolbar.   It's default position seems to always be right on top of them.

It's possible with KDE, not sure about non-Linux and non-KDE system. But KDE is so powerful you can exactly do that and much more.

Oh dang, I put the rig away (snow is on the way).   It's your StellarMate OS image.   So, is that KDE?  (sheesh, I should know that)

I know old post...But does anyone know how to modify where a window returns once closed?
I'm using the current v1.7.2 Stellarmate image: Raspbian GNU/Linux
The issue is that it covers the toolbar icons, so my first task is to move the window... every time.

If you're running KDE (no idea about Raspbian), right click at the upper window bar, click at "More actions", click "Configure special window settings". You can set window size, position, etc. there.

Not a choice on the window bar. I wish it did.
