How to disable "Abort capture on autoguiding stop"

HI I have trouble sometimes with my camera it takes long time to get exposure, PHD2 stops. And Ekos stops capture.

I do not mind guiding to stop as I have short FL, so tracking is usually enough, but I find stack crispier if I use guiding and dithering, but I do not want for Ekos to stop capturing if autoguiding fails as something is better than nothing. Last night i got some Widefield imaging and All stopped after 4/60 frames. I went to bed and left rig working night shift for me :)

Also is there any way to retry to restart PHD2 from Ekos. Like if it fails - > start looping, autofind star, start guding.

Thanks!

This is more of a question than an answer... would the scheduler assist in restarting capture runs if autoguiding fails, through the aborted job management option?

I actually never used. scheduler, but I can try to see will it help, but this should definitely be an option not the rule.

Outta,

This feature/switch is missing from EKOS. I also would like to see this feature, as I have pretty good tracking without guiding.

You need to use Scheduling, as it has a mechanism that will restart the job if aborted. It's not perfect... doesn't work in some situation, but is better than nothing.
