Control Panel Gain/Offset Vs. Camera Module settings

Hello,
When I start Ekos and the Control Panel appears, there is a gain/offset listed in the Main Control Tab of the camera. When I go to schedule the run for the camera, I can leave the Gain and Offset at "--". does that mean the default is used or are the Gain/Offset set to 0 for the run? As a follow on question, does changing the gain/offset in the schedule does it override the default?

Anand

'--' means it will not change the value, whatever it is.
That means, if you use, e.g., a higher gain for focusing or alignment, that would stay afterwards. Putting a number there will override whatever is in the camera settings.
I always set both, to ensure the proper values are used.

Same to me. The "--" are a little bit confusing and I always enter there the the same values as shown in the INDI settings if not using any different for other reasons.
So for me it would be a good change to show there the vaules taken form the INDI driver defaults.
