Guidecam not detecting valid dark frames.

Hey folks,
So I have this issue where my guidecam continually tells me there are no valid dark files available even though I have just created them (after purging the old darks)
So I use 2 Altair cameras an AA26c as main imager and AAGP130. The dark frames for the AA26c work fine and it subtracts them as needed, but I cannot get the darks for the guide cam to be applied.
The only thing I can think of is the temperature saved for these darks is in scientific format where as my cooled camera saves the correct temp and I’m wondering is this why they aren’t being applied.

Has anyone else had experience with this ?

Thanks
Lenny.

Yep! Sorry logs would have been very helpful. So here is an excerpt from me trying to capture an image as well as the log showing I had created the dark for that exposure and binning.

Most often it's sensor temperature that prevents existing darks from beingk (re-)used. I can't see it in your logs though.

So my guidecam is not cooled so there is no option to select a temp when using the dark wizard. Also I set the temp limit to 10deg straight after creation and it still said they weren’t valid.

Hi Jasem,
Did the logs help or where they not descriptive enough to help trouble shoot.

Thanks.
Lenny.

You mean that you set this value (T. threshold) to 10 deg? Are you sure that your current dark temp is less than 10deg than the captured?

I set it to 10 as a test. I don’t have any temp control for my guide cam so the temp is recorded as an exponent number. So to see if it was due to some temp mismatch i expanded it to 10 degrees but it made no difference. No matter what I do it always says there is no valid dark. I hope that makes sense
