Tonight I tried make Flats... I have added a sequence of Flats calculating the ADU values and then the Darkflats sequence with the specific option.

It calibrates the exposure flats as usual and captures the sequence, but when start the DarkFlats it doesn't warn or wait for cover the telescope as it does with normal Darks sequences... Is this a the correct behavior or a bug?

Cheers.

Can anybody help me to find the settings for focus during capturing? Like set the temperature delta for refocus or periodical refocus? I don't see them in focus modul now.

Those options are now accessed via a button on the right half of the window, towards the bottom. I don't have it open to provide the exact name :(

KStars 3.6.0 cannot run on MacOS 10.14 (Mojave).
The installer says that it needs MacOS 10.15

It doesnt run on MacOS 12.5 on the Macbook Pro with 16GB and M1 Pro chip either. It just crashes and prompts to reopen. Same happens when you attempt to reopen.

FWIW, I'm running KStars 3.6 on an M1 Mac Studio under macOS 12.5. I haven't experienced crashes on launch or otherwise. I'm using a remote RPi running the lates StellarmateOS to control the mounts remotely from the Mac. I haven't had clear nights since the upgrade to 3.6 but I have been able to test my mounts and things seem to work fine. I'll report back if I find any problems after a full blown imaging session.

I'm getting a build error on Raspberry Pi 4 4GB, Ubuntu MATE 22.04 64 bit trying to build 3.6.0, using Nou's script. The dependencies all appear to be installed. I've also tried to install via the PPA but it has the ZWO camera driver restart problem.

Error report as below.

/root/astro-soft-stable/kstars/kstars/tools/observinglist.cpp:718: undefined reference to `Ekos::Manager::addObjectToScheduler(SkyObject*)'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [kstars/CMakeFiles/kstars.dir/build.make:222: bin/kstars] Error 1
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Makefile2:1123: kstars/CMakeFiles/kstars.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [Makefile:136: all] Error 2
KStars failed

Thanks

Seems like something is not rebuild even thought it should. Did you build it previously. If so try to delete astro-soft-stable/build-kstars directory and try to build it again.

Nou,

It failed on the first run through, so I rebooted and tried a second run to get the same error again.

I’ve deleted the directory and it’s currently rebuilding now hopefully it will build correctly this time.

Many Thanks
