Solving a Meade DSI Pro 1 image was created by Fabio Papa

Hi all,while not strictly a problem, I'd like to use my Meade DSI attached to a 50mm finderscope for polar alignment as this would provide a wide enough FOV.

Now my issue is I cannot get the system to solve an image taken this way. I attached an example to this post.

Can anybody tell me if this is feasible at all?
