V3.6.0 Issue with guiding ?

Hello,

I am configuring a setup in order to observe exoplanets transit:
Mount Ioptron GEM28
Mak180 F/D 15 F=2700
ASI183MM PRO for imaging
QHY224C for guidng on Orion finder 9x50 with a barlow x3, so F ~ 570, F/D ~ 11

The guiding calibration doesn't complete. It fails on AD reverse always. The AD motion on the graph is always in the same direction, never reverse.
I check the mount but nothing.

An idea ?

This is not going to help you at all but I had experienced the exact same behaviour many months ago. I never got to figure out what happened. But for whatever reason the next time I used my rig it had disappeared. Just like that. Without changing anything, no software update, no hardware changes.

Does the mount move at all when doing the calibration? If not, I had a similar issue with my CEM120 and needed a firmware update to get it working.

Hello,

Usualy my setup is with an ED80 SW and I guide with finder Orion 9x50, without barlow, and the same mount. I have any problem most of the time.

I try one more time, as soon the wethear is fine. Thank you.

One rather remote possibility... I assume you use pulse guiding. Does the problem persist when using the ST4 port instead (if your mount still has one)?

Does the mount move correctly when you use the Ekos mount control buttons?

Hi,

Yes the mount moves when I slew to an object from Kstars. I use pulse guiding. I didn't try with the ST4.
I investigate these ways asa.
Thanks.
