In previous versions of KStars. there was an option button in the Camera Rotator control panel to turn on/off rotation after meridian flips. Now, I see that option is gone.
I actually like autorotation after flips, as it allows me to have the exact same guide stars in my OAG. But I cant figure out how to get the guiding calibration to work after ,meridian flips when using a rotator. When EKOS rotates the camera 180 degrees after a flip, I thought I would not need to recalibrate the guider? I tried turning off auto calibration after flips, and that didn't help. The guider still failed and needed to recalibrated.
1. Am I wrong in thinking that guider calibration isn't needed if the comer is R-rated 180 degrees after a flip?
2. What do other users with an auto rotator do to simply flipping?
