I'm having serious issues trying to get the CCD simulator to show any stars. When I take a picture it only shows noise and displays no stars. I did some digging around and another post suggested that I hadn't installed the GSC.

So I opened the install wizard and indeed I hadn't installed it! So I went ahead and downloaded the files (through the setup wizard) and KStars says that the program is now installed.

However I still get no stars showing up on the FITS Viewer. Any ideas what could the problem could be? Thank you very much!

(I am running Mac OS 10.14.5.)
