Hi,

I am having issues. When I load up Kstars I get a message "Guided dithering cannot be used with unguided dithering". I must have accidentally clicked both. I am now unable to click capture for my guidecam, kstars crashes instantly every single time. I also click "Options" to change the guided dithering/unguided dithering options but the options button is unresponsive and no window opens. I have posted the log below. thank you for the help and stay safe!!

Go to the guiding tab, and click options, then Guide in the pop up window. Uncheck Non-Guide dither pulse. That's for unguided dithering. Some times the popup window will go under Kstars, and you have to move the windows out of the way to access the settings.

Still does not pop up. I have moved all windows to look for the options window. It works on other tabs but as soon as I go to the guiding tab it is unresponsive. Is there any other way to access the guided/unguided dithering without going to that options tab?

Better yet, is there a way I can completely remove Kstars/Ekos and start fresh? I seem to be running into more issues now. I go to connect my gear and it crashes instantly. Really weird. Unfortunate because I really like the layout of this program. I hope I can figure this out. Would love to just do a fresh reinstall

You can reset to a "fresh" configuration by removing the ".local/share/kstars" folder in your home folder, or the equivalent location on your system.

We should really offer an option in the interface.

Did you solve the issue? I wanted to start the simulators profile but I always get the pop ups and after pressing OK kstars crashes. I already removed
.local/share/kstars
and
.indi/
but still the same...

Thanks for the response :)
Seems to be a problem with the simulators. I also tried with ASI camera (which wasn't connected) and it didn't complain.

Here is the backtrace
