Any tips for getting a successful plate solve in the Milky Way?

Every so often I have this difficulty, this time in Cygnus. I plate solved within a couple degrees of CzeV627 but then Ekos failed to solve. I tried bin1, bin2, focus, de-focus, 1s exposure, 2s exposure, nothing worked, it would just timeout after what seemed like an eternity.

Can anyone suggest any other parameters that I can tweak?

Thank you.

make sure you have good focus
try solving with astap instead
try solving with online vs offline astrometry
sometimes I get better results by having only the required index file for the fov of your specific camera/scope combination, and delete non required index files
if shooting mono and filters are parfocal, try solving with a different filter
