[SOLVED] Ekos capturing problem

Ekos capturing problem was created by geert

Hello,
I'm a beginner and I'm using Ekos (KStars version is 3.4.3) on astroberry.
My camera is a Canon 500D.
I've setup a sequence of 20 captures of 1 minute each.
My problem is that every uneven capture is a capture of 1 second (I verified this with nomacs), though Ekos logs that it's capturing a 60 second image.
My darks, same problem.
My question, what am I doing wrong here, or what setting did I mess up?
All help appreciated!

I have the same problem with T3i 600D. Kstars 4.5. It doesn't matter how long I set EKOS to capture, it is only 1 sec and ekos keep counting then hang and crash. I will try to get a debug log that may help.

PS: The same camera was used successfully with an older version of EKOS/INDI, but no longer with the new one

There was, at some point in development, a regression that impacted esq files and caused weird 1-second exposures to appear in the sequence and crash Ekos. Could you create a new sequence from scratch and compare the resulting xml files and effective results?

Hi Eric,

It was the mirror lock. When I set it to 0 it works and keeps the shutter open for the duration required. If set to 1, the shutter will close after 1 sec, but EKOS keep counting the duration ordered.
