I've never tried this before, but I've previously been confused by J2000 vs Jnow coordinates for tiny objects and this one moves across the starfield very fast.

Can I get updated coordinates in KStars/Ekos to place this fast-moving asteroid on the center of a camera chip at f/7?

How?

Answering my own question: I still don't know how to get KStars to do this, but MikeK314 at CN explains precisely how to do this using the Ephemeris Service for Near-Earth Asteroids at the Minor Planet Center: see post here

For my location it will transit a little after 10 PM about 40 degrees above my horizon.

RA = 9.4356 DEC = -7.532 (J2000). SW of Regulus, and just a little bit north of Alphard. It's 15th magnitude, so hopeless visually, but should be pretty easy to image.

Very cool!
