Focuser backlash grayed out

Focuser backlash grayed out was created by Miguel

Hi all,

Does anybody know why is greyed out the backlash box in my ekos installation?



is it something related to the driver? by the way, I'm using rbfocuser indi driver.
Tested in two different versions of kstars with the same result (but same indi version, 1.8.9)

I'm using myFocuserPro2 (DIY) focuser and the backlash is grayed out as it has to be entered from the INDI tab for the driver.

Hello,

This depends on your focuser driver. In my case, I use myfocuserpro2, and below is where I enter the backlash focus in and out.

Thanks for the reply, Mohamed.
Definitely, it depends of the driver. Mine has not those settings. Well, in fact, I think I almost don't have any backlash. My motor is engaged directly in the fine focus knob. No intermediate/reduction gears. Works quite well.
