Hello Scott. My Atik and QHY are not recognized by Ekos. Reading the logs,I can see that there is a successful connection at ATIK and QHY drivers but after a while connection is lost leading to an error message from Ekos. Both cameras are powered on and connected to my laptop. I attach the log file but preferably I think we should wait for a fix and things to "calm down" with the upgrade.
Try clearing your local apt cache
sudo apt-get clean
And then be sure to use the nightly PPA
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mutlaqja/indinightly
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indi-full kstars-bleeding
Is a restart required (or a good idea) after this or an apt-get update/upgrade?
3.5.3 stable is back and running on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS but I still get a problem. Ekos doesnt recognize my ATIK & QHY ccd cameras even when they are connected. I will make a new post for it.
A big thank you to you and the development team for your quick work on this!!
@knro: Hi! I'm the maintainer of everything INDI/Kstars related for openSUSE. Since the update to 3.5.3, the EKOS tab is completely gone. I've tried to rebuild the package with different options, but still no luck.
This morning I also compiled the latest master (3.5.4~git.20210504), and EKOS reappeared
Would it be possible to push a 3.5.3.1 release please? Or, if not, tell me which commit fixed the issue so I can backport it?
