Hi. Recently update to 1.7.6, and Sesto Senso 2 focuser not working, focuser not moving. I read something here a long time ago.

Is there a solution now?

Sincerely.

You need to update your SS2 firmware first.

Hi. Yes, I already had the updated version of the firm, V/Sestosenso2_v1.3.fw

But I've updated again, and it's still stopped.
This is what I get:

[ERROR] Focuser failed to move to new requested position.
[ERROR] Required {"req":{"cmd":{"MOT1":{"MOVE_ABS":{"STEP":500}}}}} failed: {"res":{"cmd":{"MOT1 ":{"MOVE_ABS":"Error: invalid command"}}}}
[ERROR] Focuser failed to move to new requested position.
[ERROR] Required {"req":{"cmd":{"MOT1":{"MOVE_ABS":{"STEP":500}}}}} failed: {"res":{"cmd":{"MOT1 ":{"MOVE_ABS":"Error: invalid command"}}}}
[ERROR] Focuser failed to move to new requested position.
[ERROR] Required {"req":{"cmd":{"MOT1":{"MOVE_ABS":{"STEP":500}}}}} failed: {"res":{"cmd":{"MOT1 ":{"MOVE_ABS":"Error: invalid command"}}}}

What else should I do?

Thank you.

Hi Juan,

I don't have this focuser but you might want to take a look at this thread...
indilib.org/forum/focusers-filter-wheels...not-found.html#92167

Seems like the latest firmware version is 3.2 which is consistent with the PrimaLuce downloads website.

The errors you got are probably because the latest Stellarmate is sending commands to the focuser that requires the latest firmware.

Hi. Thank you all. I have managed to install firmware version 3.2.
But...complicated to find it, it is not as firm on the web, you have to install soft Play, and update from there.

Solved. Now it works correctly.

I said thank you.
